Putting together my year-end list is something I always look forward to. It’s been another year full of music for me, so much so that I took a job at Amazon working on digital music! And despite pouring myself into the job, I still managed to see over 40 different bands this year. Some of my favorite live acts this year were The XX, < Pickwick, Frightened Rabbit, Wild Cub, Chvrches, Phoenix, and Vampire Weekend.
There were several bands this year which got multiple entries in my top 50, including Arcade Fire, Youth Lagoon, Vampire Weekend, Chvrches,Cut Copy, Disclosure, and Daft Punk. There’s definitely a good mix of favorite bands, but quite a few new ones as well. I hope you enjoy it.
