I think it’s pretty damn cool that a gigantic Sub Pop flag is flying above the Space Needle to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sub Pop Records.
As you probably know, Sub Pop signed some of the early iconic bands in Seattle, such as Nirvana, Mudhoney, and Soundgarden. They’re still going strong with many new bands (Fleet Foxes, Foals, Wolf Parade, Shins,…). Happy 20th!
